🌿 Blue Buddha Farm Return, Refund & Replacement Policy

At Blue Buddha Farm, every bulb and rhizome is hand-selected and packed with care. We’re a small, family-owned business, and we want our customers to feel confident and supported with every purchase. Because our products are living plants, our policies differ slightly from standard retail returns. Please review the details below.


🌸 1. Product Quality & Viability

All bulbs, rhizomes, and plants are inspected prior to shipment and guaranteed to be viable at the time they leave our farm. Many plant materials—especially dormant iris rhizomes, caladium bulbs, and amaryllis bulbs—may appear dry or lighter in color during dormancy. This is normal and does not indicate a lack of viability.

If you ever have a concern about the condition of your order upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of deliverywith photos of the items and packaging. We’ll review your claim promptly.


📦 2. Returns

Because we sell live plant material that cannot be resold once returned, we do not accept physical returns except when specifically requested for inspection or verification.
If a return is requested by Blue Buddha Farm, the customer must ship the item(s) back within 10 days using a trackable service. Returned products must be in their original, unplanted condition.


💳 3. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
For security, accounting, and audit purposes, we cannot issue refunds through personal payment platforms (such as Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle) or by company check for online orders.

If a customer’s payment was made through PayPal, refunds are subject to PayPal’s policy, which allows refunds only within 180 days of the original payment date. Once that period expires, Blue Buddha Farm is unable to process a refund through PayPal’s system.

In cases where the payment platform prevents a refund (for example, after PayPal’s 180-day limit), customers will be offered one of the following resolutions:

  • Store credit or gift card equal to or greater than the original purchase amount, or

  • Replacement plants of equal or greater value during the next appropriate shipping season.

Shipping costs are non-refundable once an order has been processed and shipped.


🌼 4. Replacements

We gladly offer replacements when plant material arrives non-viable due to our error or shipping damage reported within 7 days of delivery.
Replacements are shipped during the next available growing/shipping season, depending on the plant type. Customers may be offered comparable varieties if the original items are sold out or out of season.


📧 5. Communication & Documentation

All refund, credit, and replacement requests must be made in writing via email to hollie@bluebuddhafarm.com.
Please include your order number, photos, and a brief description of the issue so we can document and resolve your claim efficiently.


🌱 6. Final Notes

Our goal is to make every customer feel cared for and confident in their purchase.
We reserve the right to limit or deny refunds and replacements when requests fall outside the guidelines above, are unsupported by documentation, or conflict with payment-processor limitations.
