Planting & care
Plant after the danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed. Choose full sun and well-drained soil, and install support early for stems carrying large blooms. Avoid soggy conditions; water regularly once growth is established. Remove spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. In colder climates, lift tubers after frost and store in a cool, dry, frost-free place over winter.
