Copper Boy, Summer in Burnished Color

Like little copper lanterns tucked among green leaves, ‘Copper Boy’ brings a warm glow to the garden. Rounded ball blooms gather their petals into intricate spirals, shifting from soft terracotta and salmon to rich burnt orange-red, with a hint of chocolate at the heart. Planting & Care

Plant after the last frost when soil has warmed. Lay the tuber horizontally with its eye facing upward, about 4–6 inches deep. Avoid waterlogged soil. Water regularly once growth begins, provide support as stems develop, and remove spent blooms to encourage continued flowering. In cold climates, lift tubers after the first frost and store them in a cool, frost-free location until spring.
