Planting and care

Plant in spring after frost danger has passed and the soil has warmed. Choose full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Provide support as the plant grows. Water regularly once growth is established, avoiding waterlogged soil, and remove spent flowers to encourage continued flowering. In colder regions, lift the tubers after frost and store in a cool, dry, frost-free place.
