Melody Dora, A Little Peach-Pink Serenade

Salmon-pink petals open around a warm yellow heart, like late-afternoon light caught in a flower. ‘Melody Dora’ layers its fully double blooms above lush dark green foliage, bringing a soft glow to patio pots, smaller borders, and freshly gathered bouquets. Its compact habit makes room for generous flowers without asking for a large garden.

Spring 2027 preorder. Ships Spring 2027, not immediately. Each order includes 1 dormant dahlia tuber, not a potted plant or bouquet.

Planting & Care

Plant after frost danger has passed and the soil has warmed. Lay the tuber horizontally with the eye facing upward, approximately 4–6 inches deep. Choose a sheltered position protected from strong winds. Maintain consistent moisture during active growth without waterlogging the soil. Remove spent flowers to encourage additional buds. In cold climates, lift and store tubers in a cool, frost-free place for winter.

Keep plants and tubers away from pets; dahlias are toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.

Tubers naturally vary in size and shape. Generated flower and lifestyle images illustrate mature growth and garden inspiration, not the exact plant or shipment. Shared tuber and planting pictures are examples. Pot, bouquet, vase, and soil are not included.
