Planting & care
Plant after the last frost when soil has warmed. Choose full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid soggy conditions; water regularly once growth is established. Install a stake or support early to help carry the large blooms. Remove spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. In cold climates, lift tubers after frost and store in a cool, dry, frost-free place.
