Growing Tips

Ranunculus thrive during the cool growing season in fertile, loose, exceptionally well-drained soil. Plant corms approximately 1–2 inches deep with their claw-like points facing downward and space several inches apart. In mild-winter climates, plant in fall for spring flowering. In colder climates, plant later in winter or early spring when conditions are appropriate or start under protection. Avoid waterlogged soil and protect actively growing plants from hard freezes.
