Planting & care

Plant after the danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed. Set tubers approximately 4–6 inches deep and space plants 18–24 inches apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Install support early for tall stems. Avoid soggy conditions; water regularly once growth is established. Remove spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. In colder climates, lift tubers after frost and store in a cool, dry, frost-free place over winter.
